Tour Plan
Arrive at Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa. Meet your guide for a warm welcome ceremony. Transfer to your reserved hotel. Enjoy an optional dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant, where you can experience local cuisine and cultural performances.
After breakfast, take a short flight to Lalibela. Upon arrival, visit the first group of the famous Rock-Hewn Churches, including Bet Medhane Alem, the largest church, and Bet Maryam, known for its beautiful frescoes.
Visit Nakuto Leab, a semi-monolithic church located just outside Lalibela, known for its tranquil setting and unique architecture. Return to Lalibela for dinner at a local restaurant.
Attend the Christmas celebration at the iconic Church of St. George (Bet Giyorgis). Experience the vibrant religious festivities, including prayers, singing, and candlelight ceremonies.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
